
Packaging design for the BlendGo Personal Blender. The product is brand new, and fun, so I designed the box to have a book front window that allows the customer to open it up and see the actual product inside, but calls to mind packaging done for toys and has a sense of playfulness.

The BlendGo Personal Blender. As creative directory for Orgo, I worked on the design and development of a beverage tumbler that also acts as a personal blender. The blender base detaches, allowing someone to literally blend & go, and then throw in the dishwasher later for easy cleanup. We gave it varied color options to appeal to just about any customer.

Orgo PrepGo food processor. Developed to be part of a line that includes a chopper and a juicer. We made it wireless and rechargeable for maximum convenience.

Orgo JuiceGo juicer. Developed to be part of a line that includes a chopper and a food processor. We made it wireless and rechargeable for maximum convenience. We wanted to add a number of attachments so folks can control how much or how little pulp their fresh beverages have in them.

Orgo wireless rechargeable immersion blenders. We developed them to be ergonomic and simple to use, and in Orgo signature line of colors.

Orgo Slush PRO packaging. Designed to be fun and yet show how what a high quality professional appliance is inside. I used a mixture of current and classic typography to frame it in and draw customer’s attention to it’s various features and callouts.

The Orgo SlushPRO itself. Designed in Orgo’s signature color pallet, I also redesigned the control panel with custom light up icons that blend form and function and are intuitive and easy to understand and use.

Edge Home Organizers
This is the reboot to the packaging to the Edge line of products. We wanted to update to a cleaner, more premium look so a watercolor painting background was chosen along with a modern typeface and custom “hand drawn” line art to customize the packaging to the product.

An unusual shape was used for the backing cards for a high quality line of spatulas. The rustic wood backgrounds and icons bring sense of modern yet rustic, and allow the vibrant colors to stand out in the store.

A design I did for the packaging for Dri-Tail Shampoo. The client knew they wanted the water drops used in the background, so I kept the design fairly clean while using some fun typographical designs.

Kaleb's Organics Dog Treats
Since this is an organic line, baked in Vermont, we knew outright we wanted a "farm" feel. I incorporated the gingham, the farm motifs, and hand-made feel into the branding and packaging. I wanted give people the gift of a fun little picnic box for their pet. The line has been wildly successful, and according to my client, it is all due to the strength of the branding and packaging.

Kaleb's Organics Dog Treats In-Store Displays
As the line became more successful, we also devised in-store custom displays for Kaleb's Organics. We wanted the gingham to be the star, knowing that it would catch customer's eyes and bring to mind all things wonderful. And it does.

The five different flavor offerings from Kaleb's, along with the actual product. The "sunrise" made of treats on the box is more than just fun, it also allows the product to be seen without cutting a panel into the box.

Sesame Street Watches Packaging
This is an example of working with a major corporate client's style guide to produce effective, eye-catching packaging. Sesame Workshop has very specific guidelines that must be followed, however, there is room for creative interpretation to design the most effective displays. (Bonus - I co-designed the watches and oversaw production on them as well.)

A larger, more masculine watch to be sold to men, I opted to keep the packaging darker with reversed type and blue explanatory icons.

Designed to enhance ease of retail display by using a simple acrylic cube. This shape is elegant, so merchandises well in big box stores as well as higher-end boutiques. The shape allows for larger, stacked displays, while providing maximum stability.

linQ by Peugeot - Smartwatch Packaging
Peugeot Watches has long used a bold red with touches of white for their branding, so we chose to do a simple, yet elegant design that stays on brand, yet has a touch of freshness about it to call out the new tech product it contains.

A 4th of July themed version of the Calming Coat done for Lowe's. The overall design for packaging and in store display was so successful, that Lowe's declared it the perfect melding of their request and branding and were ready to put it on the floor as is.

Adding custom shaped windows to boxes allows the product to be visible while retaining the strength of the box.

A simple mesh bag with a hangtag designed to showcase the products and convey the message of being eco friendly. This packaging strategy is pleasing to the eye of the consumer and easy to merchandise and display in the retail environment.
